Discipleship Ministries offers the ONE Matters Award (OMA) program to recognize one congregation from each annual conference that has successfully increased its numbers of professions of faith and baptisms from zero to one. The OMA consists of a commemorative plaque and a check of $1,000.00 to be delivered to the selected congregation.
Eligibility: Open for annual conferences in the United States. DCMs may complete the application or delegate the application to a authorized individual within the annual conference.
One check and one plaque will be provided by Discipleship Ministries per annual conference. Annual conferences may request up to four additional plaques, but the accompanying monetary award(s) will be the responsibility of the annual conference. If an accompanying monetary award is not offered, an annual conference can request a certificate of recognition to be provided for those additional awardees.
